A disk read error has ocurred..........

Hi, I have come across this problem today. Earlier today, my PC was working fine, and there wasn't any problem when I shut it down. Then "a disk read error..." showed up. I pressed CTRL + ALT + DEL and I came back to the error message. I took off my Seagate HDD. Still doesn't work.

I run a Windows 7 ULtimate 32 bit. I was thinking of following these steps. but I don't know the right one I should download.

Please help. I'm still a noob when it comes to this. Thanks.

    Hi,

Have you tried to boot into Safe Mode?

I can't get even to booting into safe mode. After the "Press DEL for Set-up. TAB for..." i automatically get directed to the page where it says " disk read error occured".

    Hi,

Did your Windows come pre-installed on your pc or laptop? Or is it a retail Windows 7 installation?
