sorry if it sounded like i was mad its just hard in forums when you go over the same steps over and over. I usually can fix almost anything myself but this had me stumped.

    Don't worry, no offence taken.

In the absence of any other ideas I suppose we may have to consider whether there is a problem with your hard drive.

Have you been able to get into the BIOS to see if there is a problem with the boot order or the BIOS recognizing your hard drive?

yeah i went over that. its a server so its a complicated setup. I have 24 hdds in a norco case. i have an areca card controling 16 and another card with 4 and my mobo other 4. so i tried resetting cmos and then had to resetup the bios. I was just pressing esc and changing boot order to boot off usb for testing or picking my c: to run.

I did have an issue once with the ahci or whatever advanced setting in the motherboard. like where you pick sata or pata i set it sata only.

Unfortunately, I have no experience with a server setup.

I'll drop into the VIP thread and try and get you some more help.

I went over all the bios settings and its setup correctly.
    same black screen white arrow.

I found something that says it can transfer your complete utorrent settings to another computer so ima try that. I have an extra drive so im sure i can do that easy enough

Hey orogmask, glad you checked out the forums over here.

I didn't know you were running a RAID configuration. Have you booted into the RAID bios and verified the arrays are healthy?

Since you get hung up at the network part of the boot, have you tried disabling the onboard NIC in the bios, then booting into safe mode?

    Hi,

I noted in the other forum you posted to that you ran 3 passes of Memtest. All our recommendations here are to run MemTest86+ for a minimum of 7 passes, or until an error is reported.

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

Could you try that and let us know what is reported?

    regards,
    Golden
