    Random Shutdowns no BSOD?

I was having some BSOD issues but they seemed to have been resolved. I have gotten a few random freeze then auto reboots. When it reboots it says "loading intel boot (something)" but then says there is no bootable media. I hit power to shut the pc off then hit it to turn it on and it boots like there is/was no problem. I have been trying to track and see when it does it but I cant seem to find a trend. any thoughts and help would be appreciated.

OK I have another BSOD cause by my USB 3 driver. I dont know why it went flakey all of a sudden. Reinstalled and I uploaded a pic. I dont know why the last Hub always fails and its the same way in the device manager. If the others install correctly shouldnt that one? I am not sure it it was also responsible for my unexpected shutdowns but for this BSOD it was.

    Any thoughts?

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff800030e4bb6, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: fffff8800cef4688, Exception Record Address
    Arg4: fffff8800cef3ee0, Context Record Address

Points to a USB device or possibly the ports being in a safe power state. Other possible causes are Memory problems... BIOS... Corrupted hard disk file system... Corrupted System Files... Lack of Windows updates... Drivers...

The above is for if your crashes return again.

For your current problem: Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows

What is the issue with my antivirus software?

Also the USB driver issues I am having; nothing is plugged into them. So I am not sure about the safe power state... i thought that was for USB devices that were plugged in or am I wrong?

That HP reset looks interesting and I might try that as I think ive tried everything else.

No issue with your antivirus software; I just include that so we know you have one and in case it does cause issues. It was not indicated in any of your crashes, so nothing to worry about there.

Have you ever had anything plugged into the USB ports before? Even if devices are not plugged in, sometimes leftover drivers lurk for USB devices and can cause conflicts. The general fix is for these leftover conflicts AND for devices that are plugged in and causing problems. It does not just cover devices that are plugged in.

Also, try the HP hard reset and see if it helps. If not, move to the third step and the hardware fix it tool from Microsoft for Windows 7.

I have had nothing plugged into my USB 3 yet (dont have anything) The only thing plugged in for awhile was my mouse and keyboard. Both of those drivers are up to date. I do have an external HD via firewire as well as a scale (for postage) my Printer is a network printer.

I do have the front USB 3 ports plugged into the MB USB 3 via a cable snaked around back. its not off of the USB 3 header though. IM not sure if that causes and issue or not?

It shouldn't cause an issue. It still may be worth going through the steps just to rule out all possibilities.
