Powered off during Win 7 restart after update

I have a 2-yr old Alienware Aurora. This AM, following a Win 7 update & restart, I powered off the system before the update was complete (the Alienware splash screen covers up Win info on startup). Now, the machine will start, but goes no further. I cannot boot into Bios or any of the system files. The machine also does not recognize the original OS disk, so I can't even do a reinstall. No keyboard commands are functional at this point. Any thoughts?

Seems od that it wont allow you to Bios or boot from disc, but in any case it may be worth while clearing Cmos
You may be able to do this via jumper switching or removing the Cmos Battery
Remember by doing so your clock will be reset to 00:00 so you will have to reset the date and tie to continue to receive windows updates ect

In addition to the excellent suggestion by ripbox: Have you tried disconnecting the hard disk? It is possible the hard disk file system is corrupted and interfering with the system. Also, make sure no USB devices are connected that might make the system think an external device wants to boot first.
