When we come looking for topics to help with, we first look for those without any replies.

Drivers for all of your BlueTooth Devices need to be installed
Drivers for one or two Windows Portable Devices need to be installed
If you can't locate what these devices are, uninstall ALL of them for test purposes. Then install them one-by-one to see which causes problems.

Only 9 updates since SP1 - most systems have 70 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get all available updates.

HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G Network Cards have been known to have problems when drivers are outdated. Please visit the providers website and install the latest available drivers.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol 120% software) are known to cause issues on Win7 systems due to the sptd.sys driver.
Please uninstall the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): DuplexSecure - FAQ

    What is:
unknown device drivers is n900 or e71 cant remember so they not doing any harm
I have seen no evidence of this in the reports that I've looked at

The server {995C996E-D918-4A8C-A302-45719A6F4EA7} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
These aren't normally a problem. Post back if you still have issues with it after we've fixed the black screen.

FYI - black screens aren't easy to successfully fix. At work we've spent over 2 weeks trying to fix systems like this - only to resort to a backup/wipe/reinstall of the OS because we weren't able to fix it. As such our advice now is simply: Try System Restore to a point before the problem started. If you're able to get it working, then update everything immediately. Otherwise, backup/wipe/reinstall Windows.

Please post another, fresh copy of the jcgriff2 reports so we can see if there's anything else remaining to try.
