Now that your BSOD's have been corrected, and your looking for assistance with your wireless it would be best if you started posting in this Forum: Network & Sharing - Windows 7 Forums

Explain what you have tried, and why you are unimpressed with their performance.
- The Altheros DSE XH9946 caused a conflict, and you definitely do not want to use that again.
- The AE1000 doesn't seem to meet your expectations, but go into greater detail, and ask if there are any better settings you could use to improve its performance. Do they actually wear out?
- Don't forget to post that ipconfig /all report.
- Try the DNS Cache Flush, and see if it helps the AE1000 performance. Have you ran the AE1000 since the Factory Restore?
- Go into some detail of where you have your machine in your home. Remember the 19 factors affecting wireless LAN performance in post #19?
- Your up to the possibility of using a PCIe card, and ask for suggestions on what would be a good choice.
