It is probably safer to do a factory image recovery. Did you create your restore discs when you first turned on the computer and started Windows after buying it?
If not, you will need to use the partition recovery method through Lenovo RnR or by pressing F11 when the computer first turns on (not boots into Windows, but when the Lenovo screen appears). You may have to tap F11 a few times for it to register as the computer first turns on.
I had the same issue.
Windows 7 home, 32 bit SP1
It happened on my netbook after a windows update installation around March/April 2013
Startup repair effectively did a system restore back to a time that worked, but went round the loopagain when the updates installed.
I disabled automatic updates for a while.
Re-enabled them recently and same old problem.
Only reference to the 0x000006b error is related to a problm that is fixed with SP1 which I had ages ago.
Now back and working - but with automatic updates disabled again.
Has anyone else found more about this ?
