BSOD When Playing StarCraft 2, error 0x00000050 & 0x0000001e

Hello, I hope this post is in the correct format and allow me to thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I have been getting BSOD when playing StarCraft 2. I reinstalled the OS and the PC ran completely fine for around 3 - 4 hours. Then I reinstalled SC2, downloaded the patch and played 1 game before receiving BSOD.

System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, SP1
pny xlr8 nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti
6.0gb RAM
AMD Athlon II x4 645 processor 3.10Ghz

BTW, I am not overclocking anything. The only setting I altered with EVGA Precision was the fan speed. I turned it up to increase cooling.

One of your Dmps was corrupt.
The other pointed to {remnants} of Symantec.
Symantec is a frequent cause of BSOD's.
It would be advisable to remove same via this link...

Thank you for the reply. I will uninstall Nortons and reinstall SC2. If I receive another BSOD, I will grab those dmp files. Thanks again!

I rezipped the DMP files individually since there was one that was corrupted. I'd like to sort them both out before reinstalling SC2 and dloading the patches. Takes a good 90 minutes.

You have presented the same DMP files as last time.
Please do it this way...

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

These were the same ones as in your first post, so obviously the same advice applies. If you are still having BSOD's. Please use the instructions JMH has posted to find and upload any new DMP files you have.

Thank you. I didnt know if the corruption was due to bundling the DMPs together. I will reinstall SC2 and post my findings.
