Sony VAIO is not permiting to install fresh win 7 from dvd

    hi

i have Sony vaio model VPCEA390X , it came with win 7 home edition but now i wanted to install win 7 professional edition.

The problem is when i insert win 7 bootable DVD into the DVD drive , the DVD is not booting , i tried total 3 DVDs but no use .

when checked my BIOS settings they are as follows :

Primary Boot Device - Optical Drive
Secondary Boot Device - Hard Drive

At last i tried to install win 7 from USB Flash Drive , but there is no Boot from USB Flash Drive option in my BIOS settings

Please suggest me how to install win 7 in my lap

    thanking you.

Providing you have a genuine Windows Professional DVD, you can use the product key that came with it to upgrade using Windows Anytime Upgrade.

Just click Start>All Programs>Windows Anytime Upgrade and type in your Windows Professional product key when prompted.

Windows will download the files needed to upgrade your installation, after which you'll need to activate again.

Doing things this way preserves all the data and programs installed on your computer.

There is also the possiblilty that the windows 7 pro version that you have is an upgrade version and in most cases is not bootable.

I cant go for upgrade option coz i installed SAP Software by formatting complete HD.
Now im using Win Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition , this OS was installed by the SAP Software Installation Store People , They connected some external devices and avast ghost software to my lap and installed through network boot option.

Now i want secondary OS as win 7 in the same lap which already having win server ,
for this win 7 installation i can't go every time to the installation store coz they charge lot of money . thats's why im decided to know the steps to boot os.

so suggest me to install OS from USB Flash Drive / DVD , and my BIOS dnt have option
    as boot from USB .

    thanking you again .
