BSODs & VAIO: PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA; nv_4 mini-sys; & readyboost

Ok. I've always maintained that the secret to the Internet is humbling one's self and asking for help from those who have been there or are there.
Well here i am. Bought a Sony Vaio VGN- SZ330P 2nd hand that already had Windows 7 "upgraded". Encountered BSOD when playing "big media". Usually when trying to watch something on Media Player Classic. But also when trying to set up Itunes or doing something that requires a lot of... computing?

I uploaded a bunch of attachments - i think it's what someone would want to see in order to help me

ok Here's the system info and minidump i think you requested. Excellent tip by the way with the "send to zipped folder" advice. i have tried to solve this problem for a couple weeks always thinking it was a missing or outdated driver. it's suggested that i need a new graphics card but i don't do any online gaming and rarely watch movies on my VAIO. The screen looks awesome and the computer runs great except for this problem.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

If you are overclocking STOP

We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:
* Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
* Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Recurring BSODS; page fault in nonpaged area
Hey all. I built my computer last August, and since then it has been running wonderfully... except for recurring BSODs. The most common message on the BSODs is "Page fault in nonpaged area." The BSODs happen occasionally, but seem to be more frequent of late, which means fixing them is a...
