BSOD playing SWTOR or Battlefield 3 even after fresh Win 7 install
Over the past few weeks I've had non-stop blue screens when playing games. The system seems fine when not gaming, but will rarely go more than 30 minutes when gaming, and sometimes as short as 5-10 minutes before BSOD.
The only thing that seemed to work was running only one stick of RAM at a time, but even that is not a guarantee to keep it running. I have run MEMTEST on both sticks of RAM together, and each one individually overnight with no errors.
I have tried tweaking memory voltages with no luck, updating all different types of dirvers with no luck, and I finally just did a fresh install of Windows 7 x64 Professional. The crashes still continue on.
I am at my wits end, I've been googling the whole internet and reading all types of suggestions to no avail. I'm pretty certain it's coming own to a hardware problem, but I'm not sure what else to troubleshoot at this point. This is a self-built system that has run fine since approx. October until a few weeks ago.
The crashes include ntoskrnl.exe, win32k.sys, nvlddmkm.sys and hal.dll.
