crash. had to move sticks to the other slots. after all the detective work it may be either sticks or slots after all.

Alright, thanks for keeping us updated. :) Best of luck tracking down which modules/slots work well.

Well after testing each kit-pair/slot combo could find nothing bad. So i put in both kits again and got BSOD bccode 1a memory mgt.

Before, when i was thinking about having to rma these i came upon a statement in the corsair website that - although their kits are tested to work together, combining kits may not work - requiring an adjustment in BIOS to decrease the DDR speed. do you think that could be my remaining problem?

thing is, i think my stem is underclocked already (i do not mess with that). my BIOS settings are all on AUTO and they are as follows: cpu frequency 200mhz, cpu/ddr clock ratio 2/1.66, ddr speed 333, cas latency 2.5, cpu vcore 1.400v, pcie clock 100mhz.

Download and install CPU-Z and Upload screenshots of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs. In the SPD tab, upload an image of each slot.

Also, go into your BIOS and post all Voltages (CPU, RAM, NB, IMC, etc.) and all RAM settings (timings, frequency, etc.)

Thanks to Dave76 for help learning RAM Stability

I would recommend removing EasyTune6 and any other Gigabyte utilities you have installed. They do software overclocking of the hardware, and their interface with the hardware sometimes causes crashes. It would be a good thing to test.

Your settings do look good, by the way. Don't see any reason they would be causing problems...

i just installed that to get your screenshots.

so now, if all that looked good and we have exhausted drivers and bad windows files as causes, i cannot figure why it is crashing (it just did again).

here are the minidump files that you have not seen yet.

Does it only crash when you have all four modules in, or did you get crashes with two in? Can you get the BIOS information I asked for (not through EasyTune6, write them down from the BIOS if needed).
