What should I do in that website, only download link i see is the RegistryBooster download
A simple Google search yielded this Winbond HID CIR Receiver 7.1.64.1010 (Windows), from Acer - Free Downloads on ZDNet | Shareware, Trialware, Evaluation Software

Sorry for being such a headache..

I downloaded it and in the installation notes it says:

"When you boot Windows or select "scan for hardware changes" in Device Manager,
a system with a WPC876xL PnP node prompts you with the "Found New Hardware"
window. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the driver installation:"

But nothing comes up with "Found New Hardware"
Im unsure about this driver and its installation,. It is fairly rare. If you dont know about it or use it you may want to rename it to *.bak so it doesnt load.

Kaspersky is a frequent cause of BSOD's.
Please remove it and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST.

This one entirely different and I am not so sure it isnt a one off. You still have the old drivers

    winbondhidcir.sys 6/3/2008 10:34:50 AM

    GEARAspiWDM.sys 5/18/2009 8:17:04 AM
    Thpevm.SYS 6/29/2009 4:15:37 AM

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.php

    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.htm

Are they suppose to be links? cuz they're not working if they are

I'll try the anti virus thing, and I'll do my best to figure out a way to update the drivers you've mentioned
