    It finally completed the long test with 93 errors.
    All errors were repaired. Startup repair worked. And everything is back to normal it seems.
    Thank you very much for your help and free diagnostics!

    It finally finished the long test with 93 errors.
    All errors were repaired. And after that Startup repair worked fine.
    Windows starts normally and everything seems to be back to normal.

    At work if the drive has errors we never fix them - we just replace the hard drive.
    We do this because it's very likely that the drive will develop errors again shortly.

    So, the point is that you should:
    - keep your stuff backed up, as you don't know when/if the drive will fail on you.
    - consider replacing the hard drive as a precaution before it dies.
