    window exploxer has stopped working

    what antivirus are you using? and since when are you having this problem? you may do a System Restore to a time before it started.

    I'm using trend micro antivirus
    I tried to do a system restore there was no point old enough

    when i tried to do the START | type perfmon /report
    results from perfmon report
    Error:
    An error occured while attempting to generate the report.
    The system cannot find the path specified.

    Is Windows 7 . . .
    - x86 (32-bit)
    - the original installed OS on the system? was original windows Vista ULTI
    - full retail version?
    - OEM = came pre-installed on system
    - Full Retail = download windows from official site
    - What is the age of system (hardware)? 4yrs
    - What is the age of OS installation: 2yrs old

    You also have a USB device listed as not installed. It may be a TV tuner, but I was not able to find anything definitive online. ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download may help with installing the drivers for these devices. If you know what USB device is not installed and it was not part of the ASUS system, then install the drivers from the manufacturer's driver support site.

    The SPLDR device may not be running if you ran the report in Safe Mode. Safe Mode also prevents the Perfmon report from being generated.
