BSoD 0xd1, new pc, confused

If Gigabyte has the latest 296.10 driver either is fine(same driver) Manufacturers often lag behind.

Device manager as a last resort yes.

Have done all the driver reinstall, by device manager, folder deleting, and applying 'clean install'.

Then thought that im done, but i was wrong.

Today, to try some kind of stressing i ran 3 passes of memory diagnostics expanded - no errors.

Then ran error checking of drive d (almost empty one) and left home. when i got back, found out that one more BSOD has occured.

I have been noted that i'd better update my BIOS

GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-H61M-D2H-USB3 (rev. 1.0)

Looking at manufacturers page i see that F3 and F4 look important

Should i download both F3 and F4, or only the latest?

Any advice of how to install either?

Sad news- if trying to run Disk Check C: , constantly receive 0x1e BSoDs

REWRITING BSOD history

1,2,3 were during external usb hdd processing,
4th was like out of nowhere, just having some windows open.

MemTest86 v4.20, 4 passes, no errors.
3 passes of memory diagnostics expanded - no errors.
Installed USB drivers, reinstalled GPU driver

5th- error checking drive partition D: (games partition)
6,7 error checking drive C: (system partition)

have just had 3 bsods

8.9 - while installing program (guita pro 5) 0xbe 0x24
10 - while trying to post here 0xa

He stated above that he's not overclocking.

Do a stress test with PRIME 95 and see what happens. Prime95 (64bit) - 25.11 Download - EXTREME Overclocking this is 64 bit windows version

Also, I have had times where there are no memory test errors but the RAM was still bad. Try removing a chip or two to see if there's any improvement.

ALSO, disconnect all third party devices (like HDDs) from the PC.

Check BIOS for any special features that may cause instability such as speedstep and turbo mode.

Was the external hard drive plugged in during all of the BSOD's?
