As before this continues to be a video TDR reset. It means your computer timed out waiting for the video system to reply.

Have you done ALL the suggestions in the first link? Plus the link that was supplied for further reading.

Yes, most of the time I get those resets because of HD video playback. However that specific zip file (as stated) was not a result of HD video playback (which before, was always the result of BSOD 99% of the time)... I was just browsing through a site with some ads and pictures (but not High definition pictures at all)

did the FurMark Set up, but I don't really understand the results

I didn't do any of the harddrive testing because I know for a fact these issues occur because of my AMD display driver crashing (Then recovering), then crashing again with the BSOD. Its been happening since I first got this laptop last winter, so I don't think its a dust buildup/overheating issue

But anyway, doing the furmark setup this is what I got:

SCORE:499 points (8 FPS, 60000 ms)

Max GPU Temp: 61C
Resolution: 800x600 (W) - AA:0 samples
FPS: min:8, max:10, avg:8 - OPTIONS: DynBkg


The rest was just "system info", but if necessary I'll post it now:
Renderer: AMD Radeon(TM) HD 6520G (1002-9647)
Driver: Catalyst - 8.90.7-110915a-125724C-HP (9-15-2011)
Clocks: core:400MHz, mem:667MHz
CPU: AMD A6-3400M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics

OK what would you like us to do?

As suggested earlier you should check to see if this issue is under warranty.

My warranty only covers problems that are supposedly "out of my control" such as issues with the harddrive or the laptop externally. I'm not sure if issues with my display driver is covered by the warranty

If you are deeply troubled perhaps you should run all the tests, report the results and we will be happy to help you figure out what is wrong. If it isnt the HD, heat, etc, it is something.


I am deeply troubled. It just happened recently and my laptop isnt overheated or anything like that

Have you re-installed the video driver using this method?
When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver.

In order to do that we recommend using
http://phyxion.net/item/driver-sweeper.html

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.
