How to find the cause of mysql's not responding

I've installed xampp for windows 1.7.7. on windows 7 x64.

Everythings are fine but mysql does not repond.

The port 3306 is opened, but mysql does not answer.

For checking this, I installed xampp for windows 1.7.7. on windows 7 x64 as guest on virtualbox, and this opens phpmyadmin without error.

As my opinion, my host windows has some application which bothers mysql.

If so, please let me know how to find the application to bother mysql.

I believe what you are looking for is: Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup. What antivirus are you running?
