zip the minidump files, it will then allow you to attach them.
I can do a lot more with those than I can from your description.

well you have a whole mess of outdated drivers any of them could be causing the fault.
(the actual crash was a driver power state failure)

I really do suggest disabling hibernation and using sleep instead.

in fact I would disable most the advanced power features.

I was going to link you to some updated drivers for the devices in question, but that is apparently far easier said than done.
Older drivers can work in windows 7, but the most common problem you run into pops up when power saving features are in use.

You should be able to find proper windows 7 drivers for your printer on hp's website.
I am not very hopeful about several of these other items which are older and very generic in nature. Finding exactly the right driver could prove difficult.

The other horribly outdated one is for a belkin device. I imagine it's either wifi or network.

As I said above giving the system a more performance minded power configuration might keep the crashes from occurring.

Considering this computer was brand new from Dell less than a month ago, seems weird there are so many outdated drivers (fair enough the Belkin one is as that was an existing printer hub I cabled into).

I have changed the hard drive to power off never... see what that does. Is that the advanced power feature you were talking about?

    By the way, thank you!

There's a few other things that may help. something that has prevented compatibility problems for usb devices is this one.

    To Disable Selective Suspend:

    open the control panel
go to power options (you may have to set view to small icons)
    click change plan settings
    in the window that opens:
    click change plan settings
click change advanced power settings, expand usb and ensure usb selective suspend is disabled.
