    Memory_Management BSOD

    Hello all.

After turning on my computer for the first time during the day I will log on and start surfing the web and the PC will lock up and eventually BSOD with Memory_Management error. After it restarts I can usually go on the rest of the day with no errors. Sometimes.

Ive ran chkdsk on my HDD and it came up with no errors, but Im not the most tech-savvy guy so here are my minidump files. There are 7 DMP files in this ZIP. Any help would be appreciated.

    Memory management (usually a driver).

    These need updating

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    Driver Reference Table (DRT)

Alright Ive attempted to update a few of those drivers so far on the list but I've come across a few problems.

The scmndisp and dadder were video card and mouse updates, Ive updates those.

The afc.sys is an Arcsoft shell driver. Arcsoft is the company which runs my "Total Media Extreme" program I use to record videos. Ive checked and the TME is saying its up to date, which I dont believe because I can only open the program in fullscreen mode which leads me to believe there IS a problem with the shell. Ive looked everywhere and cant find a driver for it.

Next are the tifsfilt and timntr.sys which are arconis true image drivers. Arconis is the company that powers Seagate DiscWizard which I used for my 3TB seagate XT hard drive. I couldnt find any updates for the program but I dont use it so I uninstalled it. I checked after reboot though in the system32>drivers folder and they were both still there. Dont know what to do about that.

In the mean time I will update the other drivers. Thanks in advance!

    Good job so far

Any driver you cant find a new one for can be made more compatibility by installing it in compatibility mode.

    Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>chose OS

Make older programs run in this version of Windows

    Compatibility Mode

    For Acronis try here.

Ok, I went through the rest of the list and according to the DRT the rest are all Acronis drivers as well except the last one which is a Hamachi driver. I will reinstall hamachi in compatibility mode.

Thanks for the Acronis link, but that just leads to Acronis's products, none of which are Seagate DiscWizard. I could look for the installer and try to install it in compatibility mode? Do you recommend that?

Also, I've been having a new problem while doing this. As soon as I restart my computer after installing a new driver, after I log in, it will soon after (about 5 or 10 seconds) start to freeze. My mouse will still move but I cant interact with any of the programs. windows button or ctrl alt del dont work. Ill leave it for about a minute or to and then it will catch up and go to the ctrl alt del menu. Its fine after that, but its been happening quite a few times. :/

How about uploading your event viewer logs? I may be able to spot something

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

    Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
    Upload the .zip file here.

Ok got a bit of an update here.

Ive updated every one of my out-of-date or missing drivers on my computer. I used a driver manager program to check that they were all up to date. Ive taken your advice and reinstalled the old programs in compatibility mode and I havent had a BSOD again yet. Fingers crossed.

Anyways, on to the other issue. I noticed today that the slowdown occurs most often when I either try to open Firefox for the first time or when browsing in Firefox. Ive done as you asked though and attached the event errors.

Thanks again for all your help :)

By far, this is the most frequently listed. Peer to peer networking service is constantly crashing. Has been going on since at least January. Happens hundreds of times a day. If you have already applied SP-1 you may need to do a reapir install to fis this.

If you havent run a system file check do so.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

iastor.sys Storage driver needs updating.. This one is benign.

e1cexpress----S3 e1cexpress;Intel® PRO/1000 PCI Express Network Connection Driver C;C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\e1c62x64.sys ... OR MALWARE if not in system32.

wmprph.exe----wmprph.exe could be a part of Windows Media Player Rich Preview Handler but safe for your computer. Also needs updating and to be checked for malware.

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update it immediately.
    Do a full system scan

I'm not sure what the peer to peer network that is constantly crashing could be. I do have Windows 7 SP1 installed, so how would I go about doing a repair install of it?

I did a system check and after reboot I followed the instructions and got the sfc details into this txt file which I have attached to this post. What should I do from here?

Also, I downloaded updated and ran a full scan with MalwareBytes. It found 4 possible malware files as seen here:

All files were quarantined and deleted.

As for the Intel driver, I updated upon my last post, so that should be fine now.

P.S. As i was running my first system check, I got a BSOD with no error message.

Most of the files in SFC that were corrupt (and some could not be repaired) were related to themes. Did you mod your wallpaper, etc?
