All my games freeze and crash to desktop plz help

    Problem Event Name: AppHangB1
    Application Name: moh_spearhead.exe
A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

Well after looking on so many threads and forums i have still not found a solution to why my games seem to crash like after 10mins of play, even whats more strange i can be playing for over an hour sometimes and it will do the same again, its becoming very frustrating for me. I've read it could be either a hardware or software problem, all my drivers are up too date i think. I've done a memory diagnostic test did not find any errors. Another thread i was reading said it's Direct x related.
Had this problem with ati cards before, thinking of switching back to nvida because of personnel experiences, they seem more stable. I built my new computer myself back in January of this year, i am from the uk and would really appreciate some help please. I will post screen shots if needed, anymore information you need feel free to ask

    My specs are as follows:

    AMD Athlon II X4 640 Processor 3.0GHz
    4GB DDR3 1600MHz
    500 GB SATA III
    PSU: OCZ 700 Watt
    AMD Radeon HD 6790 (1GB)
    Asus M5A78L-USB3
    Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)
    Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

My cpu temps at idle are 33c and when gaming i never see it go pass the 50 mark!
Gpu temps idle at 50c and when gaming i never seen it go over 65 mark, but i did a stress test while running a benchmark and it went as high as 72c!!

I've read many comments on threads that the hd 6790 is just not a very good card, i am looking into buying an alternative card (don't know if this will fix my problems) if anyone has any suggestions what would suit my system best, i play games like battlefield 3, skyrim, batman arkham city, crysis, some older games to like the old medal of honor games and call of duty games.

First question would be, do you have any other games or apps that crash, or is it isolated to this particular game?

Okay, we need a few things from you. First, please follow this guide. Even though you are not experiencing BSODs, the files may provide important info.

Next, let's get your Event Log.

    Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
    Upload the .zip file here.

Thanks to zigzag3143 for the steps.

You might have mentioned you had some blue screen crashes, as well...

I see event viewer errors related to your backups. What do you use to backup your system and data?

Your applications crashing only indicate the applications themselves are to blame. Have you tried uninstalling them and then installing them again?

You have some .net runtime related errors with old .net framework components. It appears to be version 2.0, which is included as part of the Windows 7 OS. You probably have Windows corruption present.
    • If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop.

    • Run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors checked for all SSDs. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log.
For any drives that do not give the message:
Windows has checked the file system and found no problems
run disk check again as above. In other words, if it says:
Windows has made corrections to the file system
after running the disk check, run the disk check again.

    • Check Windows for corruption. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations. Use OPTION THREE of SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to provide us with the sfcdetails.txt file if errors occur.

Those should be good places to start. I will analyze your .dmp files if needed once I get feedback regarding the above.

Sometimes i use a usb external hdd to backup any files i need, but thats always unplugged most of the time from the computer, i use to overclock both my cpu and gpu but then set them back to default settings to see if it made any difference which it did not, i've just tried to run a Disk Check i ticked the two boxes and it comes up with the following message.. Windows can't check the disk while it's in use.. Do you want to check the hard disk errors the next time you start your computer? Schedule disk check. I have already run SFC/SCANNOW Command today and on it's 1st time it did not find any errors but will do another scan now and will let you know

Schedule the disk check, and let us know how that comes out, as well. I would also recommend that you
to make sure the hard disk itself is working properly.

I did a check disk like u asked me but as you can see when i search for Chkdsk and click find next the log should have the Chkdsk tag if Check Disk is ran only from within Windows, but instead it says sumthing called Wininit don't know if there is a mistake and i ran another SFC /SCANNOW command and again did not find any errors, will give seatools i try tho thanks.
