Remove your graphics card from the system after you have the equipment to clean it.

"Use an ink eraser or an electrical contact treatment, available at electronics supply stores, to ensure adapter card contacts are clean" (Bug Check 0x7A: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR). Also clean the contact points on the motherboard the same way. Then use a compressed air can to blow out the card slot and card contacts on the card itself and blow out the dust in the heatsink and fan assembly the best you can without removing the heatsink.

Make sure to follow ESD safety steps when removing or replacing the graphics card.
    1. Shut down and turn off your computer.
    2. Unplug all power supplies to the computer (AC Power then battery for laptops, AC power for desktops)
    3. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to close the circuit and ensure all power drains from components.
    4. Make sure you are grounded by using proper grounding techniques, i.e. work on an anti-static workbench, anti-static desk, or an anti-static pad. Hold something metallic while touching it to the anti-static surface, or use an anti-static wristband to attach to the anti-static material while working. If you do not have an anti-static workbench, desk, or pad, you can use your computer tower/case by finding a metal hold in it, such as a drive bay.

Once these steps have been followed, it is safe to remove and replace components within your computer.

    What were the results?

Sorry, I should have been clearer... What were the results system wise. Any odd behavior?

I would suggest testing with FurMark, as well. Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Unigine: real-time 3D engine (game, simulation, visualization and VR) is also a good place to do robust stress testing on the GPU.

nope accept I’ve just had the system up and running for a week or so. The problem is that, all of a sudden, the screen will go blank or a bright orange color. I don’t think the system resets though. It sits there and the system light and fan are still on. Everything seems like it is working fine but the monitor goes out and there is apparently no way to get it back without turning off the computer and rebooting. played a game for half hour last night and it did not hang on me like normally so for now it's just this screen problem.

    I'm gonna test with:

Prime 95 and stress test memory
Furmark and stress test video card
Download a CPU benckmarking program (someone recommend one please!) and stress test CPU

I'm gonna post screen shots to make it more clear to you.

Prime95 does some good processor stressing. There are three tests it includes: one stresses the processor more, one stresses memory more, and one stresses both essentially equally. You can also take a look at https://www.sevenforums.com/hardware-...lburntest.html to test the processor further.

Even though you are not having this crash, and since you are already doing many of the steps outlined to resolve it, read through STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting

I did both a cpu standerd test and a high test, would not let me do a very high test sumerts to do with needing more memory obviously need at least 6gb to run the very high test.

    Results below

Here are the results for Furmark..

    GPU Temperature:

    Min: 45c
    Max: 78c/79c
    Fan Speed 83%
    GPU Load 100%
    No problems detected.

Also ran the SFC.EXE /SCANNOW in DOS again and did not find any integrity violations.

Also i was looking through my event viewer and found this error AGAIN...Session "Microsoft Security Client OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D no idea why or what this is but did not notice anything shifty going on and that was logged within the last 45 mins.

Should i still run Prime95 you think or try the Memtest86+ USB Installer?? or maybe get a graphics card replacement.. tired of this now.. :/

The Microsoft Security message indicates that Microsoft Security Essentials is not installed correctly. Uninstall from Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program. Then download a fresh copy to install from Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

okay well i decided to remove Microsoft Security Essentials from my computer.. installed avira free edition instead.

    Also i tried the following..

In windows 7: If you havent already resolved the issue, you will need to navigate to: C:/program data/microsoft/microsoft security essentials/support/>then locate the file: "MSSEOOBE.etl" and simply delete it. Once you restart the computer, MSE will recreate it, and that should resolve the issue.

I will now monitor my system for 24hrs and see if there is any changes, would be a surprise if this software program can cause the system to freeze and blank screens.. Also before I was using essentials, I installed Norton antivirus and had no such problems with that.

Here is a Link to my dmp files if u want to see them it may help...
