BSOD on brand new Dell XPS 13

    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1
    Intel Core i5-2467m @ 1.6ghz, 4gb ram
    Full retail version
laptop is less than 2 weeks old
    original install date is 5/2/12

I have been having some trouble with my brand new Dell XPS 13. When I close the lid and the computer goes to sleep, when I come back, it does not load properly. What I see is whether I want to boot up in safe mode or start windows normally. I have seen the BSOD 3 times now just doing normal internet browsing and while the computer was sitting idle.

Can anyone help!? Thanks in advance.

Related to NETwNs64.sys Wireless WiFi Link Driver from Intel Corporation. I would re-install the newest driver available.

Uninstalled the PROSet/Wireless software and the intel centrino wifi driver, then rebooted, and reinstalled the software (which includes the driver). Hope this works, Thanks!

If you can't get it to run properly you ought to consider contacting Dell Support.

Your computer is almost brand new and will have a warranty, so they should either repair, replace or refund.

Dell has a user support forum (Community).
Here is the link to the Laptop Hardware section:
    Laptop - Dell Community

If you continue to have problems, and you bought the PC direct from Dell you only have 21 days from the date of the Dell invoice (usually the day it was shipped) to call and request a return authorization if you decide you don't want to keep it. After the 21 days its yours. If you bought it from a retail store, such as Best Buy, you are under the terms of the store in regards to a return/replacement/refund.

uninstalling and re-installing the driver/software did not work.. Luckly it is a brand new computer, so I just did a factory reset... I guess the rest of my day will be spent installing all my programs, again :/

    thanks for the help
