Windows is closing unexpectedly while using Handbrake and rendering

Hi,

My windows is closing unexpectedly when ever I'm trying to convert videos using Handbrake and render my work files on Premier Pro. Before I didn't face this kind of problem it's happening after giving my Mother Board for servicing because of some power problem. I tried in all possible ways I know to fix this problem like reinstalling all codecs and programs, I also reinstalled my Windows but there is no change. I'm using Windows 7 Service Pack 1 with latest updates. Except this almost every thing is normal. How to fix this problem, is this happening because of problem in Mother Board?

You only have 2 updates installed since SP1 - most systems have 75 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates.

System logfile shows issues with your nVidia video drivers and your Forceware IP manager. Please update both of these devices/programs.

Application logfile shows issues with Windows Update and Handbrake.
Get all available Windows Updates
Get the latest version of Handbrake.

I fix systems by working in this order:
- fixing 3rd party and Windows Updates issues
- fixing hardware issues
- fixing Windows issues

There are many different 3rd party and Windows Updates problems that can resemble hardware problems.
And it's easier to fix 3rd party and Windows Update problems than it is to isolate a random hardware problem somewhere in the system without correcting the 3rd party/Windows Updates issues first.

FYI - service centers can make mistakes also. I battle with them at work on a regular basis.

You can either follow my suggestions or you can do it your way. Please let me know and I'll unsubscribe from this topic.

1) Update nVidia video drivers from the nVidia website: Drivers - GeForce

2) As long as you're there, update your chipset (Forceware) drivers: NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.49WHQL

3) Visit Windows Update and get ALL available Windows Updates. If there are any problems with getting them, post back here so we can figure out a way to get them on your system.

4) Visit the Handbrake website and update your copy: HandBrake
v0.9.6 has at least one crash fix in it.

5) Monitor for further problems.

If the crashes continue, post back with a new jcgriff2 report.
