So, any other suggestion ?
Not much - it depends on how much this error impacts your computer use (it may be easier just to live with it).
The next step is to try a repair install of Win7: Repair Install
If that doesn't fix it, then it's a backup, wipe, and clean install of Windows.
If that doesn't fix it, then it's most likely a hardware problem (most probably with the mobo)
Just a thought:
- have you removed all other USB devices from the system and then tested this? This includes any ports that are connected to the USB headers (not the ports, the little pins) on your mobo.
- have you checked all USB ports to ensure that there's no damage to them?
Of course I can live with. I am pretty sure this is barely nothing to fix it anyway, and this is why I'd like to try all suggestions.
I am not ready for a full reinstall just because of this issue. More of all, if a software is the root cause of this issue it can appears again after reinstalling.
About USB headers, maybe the card reader of my printer can be the faulty ? I'll check this way, an other USB headers.
Thanks.
I'm referring to number 14 and 6 on page 2-2 of your motherboard manual.
The USB headers (number 14) and the USB 3.0 header (number 6) are described in detail on page 2-18
You can get the manual from here: ASUS - Motherboards- ASUS SABERTOOTH P67 (I used the French version for the page numbers).
