Sorry, I forgot to ask: Does Windows made corrections to the file system.mean Windows has fixed problems or that I need to fix problems?

If I see this result and run chkdsk again, will I find that the file system is now OK as a result of these changes Windows made?

Or, if there is a real problem, is chkdsk likely to continue to find corrections to make?

If the hard disk is failing, you will probably see that red message on a more regular basis. For the most part, the blue message appears the second run of chkdsk, but I always recommend running it that second time to make sure the blue message appears and not the red. If the red message appears on the second run, that is a good indicator that you should backup all data and do regular backups on at least a weekly basis because the drive is likely starting to fail.
