    BSOD Error Message - The Computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.


    Hi,

    New to forums.

    Computer has rebooted a couple of times in the last month. Added details from event viewer and also updated dump files. Any help / suggestions to understand problem would be greatly appreciated

    Critical Error - Event ID 41 Source Kernel-Power

    The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

    Your crash indicates your network adapter as the cause. The adapter driver is pre-Windows 7 and needs to be updated. Ralink RT2860 series Wireless LAN Card (you may have a different manufacturer): Ralink-A MEDIATEK COMPANY

    Please fill in your system specs in your profile and not in a post in this thread. System Info - See Your System Specs will help in this regard.

    Thanks for the reply writhziden

    I have updated system details as per your feedback. I have looked at the network adaptors and have updated the drivers on the Intel (R) 8256GT 10/100 Network Connection to the latest version and also the Linksys WMP600N Wireless-N PCI Adapter with Dual-Band - both were out of date.

    Will see if this resolves problem
