    Doing the followign steps seemed to have fixed my problem thank you very much for your help, really good community here.

My newly bought (this month) computer froze many times while I was playing Warcraft 3. It even froze when I was installing Windows 7. Strangely, it doesn't freeze if I'm playing Left 4 Dead 2. Btw, there is no blue screen. The screen simply freezes.
