The Ethernet driver and Virtual Serial Bus Enumerator drivers should be taken care of. Please make sure all drivers are installed from Acer support. If you need help determining drivers, let us know.


Security Software: ??? Make sure to install security software. I recommend either of these:

• Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows coupled with Malwarebytes. Do not start the free trial of Malwarebytes. Just use the standalone version, update it, and scan your computer once a week with Malwarebytes and with Microsoft Security Essentials.
  
  
• Good and Free system security combination.

After installing your security software, update it, and then run full scans today with each program. Report back the results of the scans.

• Many of us on the forums actually do not recommend automated optimization tools for Windows 7. Windows 7 does a much better job of handling its own optimization than its predecessors did. We especially do not recommend registry cleaning as an "optimization" step because automated registry cleaning causes more harm to the registry than it actually repairs.
  
  In the future, if you need help optimizing Windows 7, please post a thread in Performance & Maintenance - Windows 7 Forums or follow the tutorial enclosed in that forum to Optimize Windows 7.

All crashes are related to your AiCharger driver. USB fast charging software often causes issues with systems. Please remove any fast charging software installed; it puts USB ports in an unnatural power state so other, non-charging USB devices have conflicts. It can also cause crashes due to the ports themselves entering a power state to protect the system from damage due to any fast charging surges. AiCharger.sys.

First of all, thank you for your reply.
I updated all of the drivers for my notebook, and I have installed the programs you recommended. The Microsoft one worked fine, one possible virus. It is taken care of. The Malwarebytes one gives me errors when trying a fast scan and stops responding whenever I try a full scan. I uninstalled AiCharger, and got rid of TuneUp too. I'll see if I get any more errors. Sounds like Tune Up Utilities may have damaged the system. Malwarebytes rarely has such problems. Try uninstalling it, downloading a fresh copy, re-installing it, and then running a scan after updating it.

Thanks, I'll try that. I haven't had a BSOD since I uninstalled AiCharger, so that must've been the problem. Thanks for your advice!
