I must confess that I failed to consider the fact that you can't run a program as administrator from the task manager (to my knowledge). I would try to perform it using the method described in the tutorial that Kado liked you to if you have not already.
ok guys its getting a little late and im getting tired of this blooming computer i might just format it and put it back to default...
hey guys i just thought that i would update you with the current situation on my computer, it has currently stopped closing explorer.exe i turned it on yesterday and then it was fixed i don't know what i did to fix it but i am so greatfull for all of the help that i have received from all of you guys. Unfortunately know that it stopped crashing explorer.exe has started to take up a ridiculous amount of cpu usage, what do you guys think that the cause of this is and how can i make it so that it is only taking up the normal amount of cpu usage instead of 30-60%
Well that's something XGamerzzz. Now you can run sfc /scannow as administrator.
You may need to run it up to three times with a reboot between each.
