I haven't had a chance to call, but if it was an extra fee when I bought my computer, I know I don't have one.

Writhziden-One more question,if you don't mind. I was reading about the importance of updating your drivers. How would I go about that?

You should update drivers from the HP support site: Software & Driver Downloads HP Pavilion Elite e9110t CTO Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

Yes, it would require an extra payment to get an extended warranty, so you probably do not have an extended warranty. It should be safe to do the dust removal steps. Make sure to avoid static damage to your PC in the process. That includes never using a vacuum to clean out the dust.

I have cleaned out all of the dust in my computer. Wow! You should have seen it. Thank you so much for all your help. One more question. It should be my last one. How do I know if this is what was causing my computer to freeze and the BSOD? Is there a report to run? Or as long as none of the above happens, I can assume its been fixed?

See how the system responds for twice as long as it normally takes for you to get crashes. Just do your normal routine during that time and post back. Once you are sure the problem is solved, let us know.

Well, all is well. No problems. No BSOD or freezing up. I can't believe it was such an easy fix. I was ready to toss out my computer. Thanks again.
