    Hi,

Have you checked all the components in device manager to see if they still register? Maybe the motherboard is faulty, I take it boots OK then?

Am going to say the Windows may have corrupt itself when you dropped it. It may have damaged the Hard Disk. Try looking for the faulty devices under device manager by going to the start menu and search this 'devmgmt.msc.'

Open it up and see what it says, if unsure post a screen shot on the forums and list the broken devices.

Hi pinkfear, welcome to 7F! :)

Yes, everything on your list is very critical to the operation of your Notebook (NB).

Can you re-start your NB in SafeMode?

    Good, that's a start.

There are two avenues we can try to see if we can get your NB back to working order.
The first one will not lose any saved data or information you have such as an English essay, the second one you will, it will reset your NB to the state it was in when you first brought it home unless you made back-ups beforehand.

1.) In safemode, do you see Last Known Good Configuration (advanced)?
If you do, navigate to there using the arrow keys then press the return or enter key.
Let your NB re-boot, and see if it comes back to normal.

2.) If you don't have the Last Known option, re-boot, and start pressing Alt+F10 you should be able to reach the "Windows eRecovery Options Screen."
Navigate or select Factory Settings, if you do not have any back-up disks then apply or OK.

What is the general condition of your NB since its accident?
Do you see any cracks in the housing?

By screen sparer, I believe you mean Screen Saver?
