Go through the steps for Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7
WarningSome of the steps require that you open up your system, so before doing any of the re-seating and connection checking steps, answer these two questions: Are you still under warranty? Does your warranty allow you to open up the machine to check hardware? If you are unsure of the answers to these questions, contact your system manufacturer. WARNING: Some steps in that tutorial involve removing the system case or system panels and can void your warranty!!!
The steps specifically related to the warning are steps 8, 10, and 11.
I am not under warranty and so I can't do all that stuff.
If you are not under warranty, then you can do all that stuff... That warning is for people who are under warranty so they do not void it. Yours is already expired, so the point is moot. Proceed with the troubleshooting steps.

Simple solution to your dilemma: Don't do steps 8, 10, and 11 of that tutorial.
Wouldn't downloading Windows 7 from mydigitallife.info be pirated and illegal?
The download itself is not pirated or illegal. It is available to anyone who needs installation media from their server and it is an official copy of Windows 7.
You may use that downloaded ISO to create installation media. In order to then install Windows 7, you must have a Windows 7 license key that is valid and genuine. By installing the media, you have to agree to the license terms which require that you have a valid license key prior to installation/activation.
