Randomly Crashes - Last noticeable BSOD says MEMORY_MANAGEMENT

    System Info

    - Windows 7 Enterprise x64 - Retail
    - Age of system is about 3 to 4 years
    - Current OS installation is less than a week old

    Hey guys,

I was experiencing random crashes since about 3 weeks ago and decided to re-format the computer. Everything seems ok after the fresh install but it started crashing again the next day ( after I've installed all the tools I needed, downloaded IMAP emails, updated virus definitions, and downloading system updates!!! ). This is the 3rd re-installation and it was running fine for the past 2 days until just recently.

I haven't noticed the BSOD messages before as it only appears for a few seconds and I don't have a photographic memory. :) But the most recent one registered on my mind just enough for me to remember seeing a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT text somewhere along the first few lines.

My suspects are either the HDD or memory module and with the latest error, I was leaning towards the latter. Anyway, I'll let the experts take a look at my logs as mentioned in the BSOD Posting Instructions thread ( https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html ).

Hope you can help me and thanks in advance!

    ---

    EDIT :

I forgot to mention that the first time it started crashing, it usually does right before the Logon Screen. After the second and third re-installation, it was usually just after logging in.

Indeed, your issues are Memory/RAM related. Are you overclocking? If so please stop.
Run a RAM Test for at lease 7 passes & post back with your results. It is recommended to reset your RAM settings in your BIOS to their default values before running the test.
    RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    Code:

    Hey yowanvista,

Thank you very much for the quick reply! I did run a Memtest and left it running for almost a day. When I came back it already completed 28 passes but there were no errors found. I'm completely clueless now!

Try to use one RAM stick at a time & try to see you still experience those crashes with any specific RAM modules.
