Random annoying Bsod when uninstalling programs or defragmenting disks

    Hey,

So from the last 2 weeks or so, my computer has been having random BSOD crashes. Since this has never happened before I was extremely worried, so I asked my mom to buy me a computer fan since the bottom of my laptop was so hot. Well, since I got the fan more problems have occurred and the BSOD crashes have not stopped. So recently, about two or three days ago, I have been receiving them more often than before. Especially now when I want to uninstall my demo of photoshop cs5.1 or defragment my hard drive. Are there any solutions/steps I can attempting to fix this problem?

Also, sorry if I'm not posting this topic correctly. I'm not on my computer at the moment since I'm having some ip address issues that are lacing me from getting any form of Internet access. I am using my kindle fire and it is frustrating to type with it since I'm new to it lol.

Btw, is it okay to list any other problems I'm currently having with my computer here?

I would recommend you remove McAfee from the system if the problems started when it was installed: How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe)

I recommend either of these to replace McAfee:

After installing your security software, update it, and then run full scans today with each program. Report back the results of the scans.
