    each time after start windows normally pc gets restarted....


    start up repair not working
    please help... my window is not loading... whenever i start my pc it shows black screen to select an option ... start windows normally like
    when i choose start windows normally it gets restarted and get back to same screen
    even safemod and another options are not working....
    tried startup repair but startup repair cannot repair windows automatically....

    Hello sushmit and welcome to Seven Forums.

    I would try running a System File Checker scan from an elevated command prompt (option two.) If problems are found run the scan 3 times rebooting in between each scan.

    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    If this doesn't help you may want to consider a Repair Install. This will try to fix your currently installed Windows 7 and preserve your user accounts, personal data, programs, system drivers, etc. Usually the most major problem after a Repair Install is you'll have to visit Windows Updates and reinstall updates.

    At the same time, try running Startup Repair , using either the installer disk or the repair disk; for at least three times, with restarts after every single run.

    If you cannot be in your desktop, try SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot .

    Form Advanced Boot Options, the last known good configuration is also to be tried.

    And, I guess you should not use professional with 1 GB ram only.

    thanks guys but the problem is that when i run my command prompt through installation disk for repairing window, i type command i.e., sfc /scannow then a message comes up that a system repair reboot is pending to scan please complete reboot to repair first...

    and marsmimer as u said that i can use repair install but how this possible if i cannot get into my administrators account....

    please help!!!!!

    dude! safe mode and other options are not working as selected system reboots to same screen agan and again....

    currently trying sfc /scannow...

    i run the command in command prompt =>

    sfc /scannow /offbootdir=f:\ /offwindir=f:\windows

    and got this message. -- Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
    Details are included in CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

    please tell me what to do next...

    Did you run the SFC scan 3 times rebooting in between each scan? You can post the CBS log here for one of the Forum experts to take a look at it.

    no actually i didn't run sfc scan 3 time actually when i run "sfc /scannow" as mentioned above it says a reboot is pending to repair window even if each time i run sfc /scannow after reboot.... but instead this command worked -> sfc /scannow /offbootdir=f:\ /offwindir=f:\windows

    and please tell me that how can i open CBS.log file through command prompt

    dude i have gone through the link u have posted
    the problem is that when i type either sfc /scannow or sfc /verifyonly i get this...
    There is system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart window and try running sfc again

    then i tried option three running this command....

    findstr /c:%windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"

    and got this as result...
    system cannot find the path specified.

    is there another way to see/open CBS.log file?
