You need to get the drivers from HP.
If you need help, please fill in your system specs in your profile and not in a post in this thread: System Info - See Your System Specs and also include the full HP model code for your system. I never had any trouble finding anything that way or directly at the HP site and,yes, I've had an HP laptop which I gave to a family member who needed one.
And yes, I wiped the disk clean of all HP and the Vista that came on it. Made a clean install of Win 7 and after letting Microsoft update eveerytiing, then and only then did I go to the HP site with zero problems.
You should be able to accomplish the same, after all, I'm a decrepit old man.
