Dozens of BSOD's

Ever since I first got this computer I've been getting multiple BSOD's. I purchased this computer from CyberPower PC and about a week into playing around with it I got my first BSOD. Now what I should have done is shipped it back to CyberPower, but I didn't because I am stubborn and I wanted to fix it myself. I got this computer in September, it is now June so you can see how well that went. Long story short I've been BSOD fairly regularly, the reasoning is sometimes similar to the last BSOD and sometimes its completely random. Sorry for the rant I am just tired of it constantly BSODing.

Running the last 13 memory dumps.....

Uninstall Gigabyte EasySaver and EasyTune6 - both are known to cause BSOD's in some Win7 systems.
These drivers date from 2009 and must be removed.

Have seen issues in the past with USB sound cards and Xeno Killer network cards - just an FYI at this time

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems.

Please uninstall all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: ATI video cards - DRIVER ONLY installation procedure

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Uninstall". Reboot for changes to take affect.

Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

We have seen issues with the Apple Charger app recently - please uninstall it to test it.

Razer Lycosa driver dates from 2008 - these are known to cause BSOD's in some Win7 systems. Please visit the Razer website and download/install the latest Win7 compatible drivers.

Xeno network card drivers date from 2009. Please update to the latest, Win7 compatible drivers.

It appears that both McAfee and Avast drivers are loading on your system. Use this free tool to remove the leftover McAfee drivers: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS100507

Please post back when you've completed all the steps. If the system still BSOD's after that, then we've got some more troubleshooting to do.

OK just finished all the steps, but two things.

1. I looked everywhere and I couldn't find EasyTune6

2. I tried to update the xeno driver, but every time I try to install them it tells me that I'm not using the correct operating system. (even though the update says it's fpr Windows 7 64)

Other than those I followed every step, and I'll post back if the BSOD's continue.

I also just wanted to say thanks, I really appreciate the help.

Don't worry about EasyTune6 - if it's there and not visible we can always rip it out by the roots (but I'm suspecting that it's not there).

Xeno stuff has been a pain before. Do you have another network card that you can use for testing (temporarily)? I keep one on hand "just in case" - they're only $15 (US) at most local stores.
If so, uninstall the Xeno software and physically remove the card from the system
Then install the other card according to the manufacturer's instructions (get the drivers from their website - NOT from the CD that came with it!).

OK I couldn't find another network card so I'll probably just go out and buy a cheap one later. Unfortunately, not even a day after following the steps I got another BSOD. Posting the dump file below. I think that's the right one. It says the last date it was modified was today.

First a bit of an explanation. If a program writes to the wrong memory address (one belonging to another program) and then it exits - there's no record of it's presence. Then, if the other program (the one owning that memory address) finds it corrupted - it'll crash and there won't be any record of the actual cause. That's one of the things that makes BSOD troubleshooting difficult.

That being said, please uninstall Apple Charger. We've seen that it causes BSOD's on some Win7 systems.

Lycosa driver still dates from 2008. Uninstall the software/driver and remove the Lycosa device. Use another device in it's place (with the standard Microsoft drivers).

Uninstall Cyberlink as it's drivers date from 2008 and 2009.

Xeno drivers still date from 2009 - so testing this will involve uninstalling the software and removing the card from the system.

Just FYI - If you do everything but the Xeno card and still have BSOD's, then it's most likely the card that's the problem.

If the above steps don't stop the BSOD's, please zip up and upload any new memory dumps with your next post - and we'll see what we can figure out from there.

OK I followed the steps above and for 6 days there were no more BSOD's. Unfortunately today, while playing team fortress 2, I got another BSOD. *edit* Just got another BSOD, not sure why they're all happening today. It's the second file.

These 2 point at "hardware"
They (hardware errors) are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- overclocking - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

The Lycosa and it's software have to be removed.
The Xeno card and it's software have to be removed (and this is - IMO- the most likely cause here).

If that doesn't fix it, then you'll have to start with hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
If that doesn't find the problem, then you'll have to start troubleshooting via hardware stripdown: Hardware Stripdown Troubleshooting
