    error:windows explorer has stopped working

    Hi

    my windows is 32bit.

I have changed from 64 bit to 32 bit a couple of month ago

now I have problems with some video files.

sometimes and I dont really know why if I open the folder containing the video file suddenly an alert window appear that is said :

the windows explorer has stopped working.after this message all of desktop items, task bar,... they disappear accentually the desktop reboot and close that folder.
if i copy the file in the desktop by mistake i cant even use my windows unless i had another account to delete it using cmd.

I didint have this problem before that I have 32 bit.i tested the file in another laptop with 32bit and it was ok.

did i do something wrong during installation?
please help me.its driving me crazy.

and also my system function is so slow what can i do about that?

Run an SFC scan and a Malware scan
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

    Post back with your results.
Do you have any codec packs installed?

the scan doesn't go further than 14% (is there any software to help me doing it instead of using command ?)
and it says: it cant complete cause of resource protection
i opened the command with run as administrative

and yes i have installed windows 7 codec pac
    and also divx plus software.

I would recommend uninstalling this pack since they have some components which enable Windows Explorer to display Thumbnails on unsupported file formats which can cause the latter to become unresponsive.
