Windows 7 - 64 bit - OEM

I copied all my files to another internal hard disk and I did a clean install and all that goes with it. I don't understand how that backup works. What is that "System Reserved (System)" partition? Suppose that I also back up the harddisk on which I installed Windows 7 does it then also backup the registry so that I don't have to install new drivers and other software. I have read this page: Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

re system reserved partition: Google is your friend.

No need to do a registry backup or any other backup if you perform a system image backup of your drives.

Windows 7 - 64 bit - OEM

Unfortunately I still don't know which software caused the BSOD's. It is sure that the hardware wasn't the problem since my computer works fine after the fresh install. Windows could do a better job in assisting people to find out the cause. You have to download software which is not from Windows to even find out which driver is involved. If Windows would at the very least give that information it would be a lot easier for many people to find the cause.

BSOD Screen freezes with red/blue/yellow horizontal lines then BSOD
This normally happens when I first start using the computer for the day. Sometimes when it happens there is a sound to it when it freezes but not always. Once the computer is going good for around 15-20mins then it no longer happens until the next reboot.

Never had any BSOD since installing my system, but just had two on one day. Could anyone give me an insight as to the culprit of this? Nothing significant was changed. To me it appeared to start out of nowhere
