I think your literraly correct in your assumption... i just noticed this when i reinstall the windows. But the reason i have to reinstall it was because it gave a huge sound so i had to emergency shutdown it, and after that, the screen just went black. Would it solve the problem if i update it to SP1? Not sure why this is happening to this particular laptop, but i seldom encounter this kind of problem on my other laptop.

I am afraid your installation is not genuine. Non-Genuine Windows contains security leaks and also cannot be properly updated which may result in instabilities and blue screen crashes. If you were not aware that your Windows was Non-Genuine, contact your seller or the company that provided the seller and file a complaint. Also let Microsoft know of the problem: Protect Yourself from Piracy.

Thanks for the help anyway writhziden, i really appreciate it, the response is top notch..... at least i know that the root of the problem is base on installation. I should have also read the forum rules, my bad.
