BSOD While attempting to play Tribes Ascend error# 0x000000D1

Hi all, apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere, couldn't find anything with exact symptoms.

I used to play Tribes fine when it was in beta, yesterday downloaded the full game from steam and keep getting BSOD when trying to launch the game, unlike other posts I have seen, its before the game actually fires up, just the launcher screen comes up.

Computer doesn't suffer from BSOD at any other times

    Device Concerns:
    Code:
SBRE	ROOT\LEGACY_SBRE\0000	This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
SBRE, is reporting "tv_ConfigMgrErr24". - Microsoft Answers should resolve the above.

    Software Concerns:
    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\Tweak-7
Many of us on the forums actually do not recommend automated optimization tools for Windows 7. Windows 7 does a much better job of handling its own optimization than its predecessors did. We especially do not recommend registry cleaning as an "optimization" step because automated registry cleaning causes more harm to the registry than it actually repairs.

In the future, if you need help optimizing Windows 7, please post a thread in Performance & Maintenance - Windows 7 Forums or follow the tutorial enclosed in that forum to Optimize Windows 7.

    Analysis:
Crashes all point to a Windows system driver. I wonder if the tweaking software has damaged Windows already...

You may need to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Prior to doing so, see if you can resolve the problem with a system file check and repair.

    Hi writhziden,

I ended up doing a clean install, like I say, its been needing it for a fair while. The only thing I used to use the Tweak software for was changing the locations of system folders, but that was just being lazy, as I just found out its perfectly easy to do manually.

    Thanks for your help bud
