    Simple query

I was caught by a bluey yesterday evening while away from home, and had no way of saving the screen so that I could view it later so what do I do in that instance?

Plus it automatically shut down my machine at the time so I would have had to be real quick to capture a shot of it.

Would I be wrong in thinking perhaps it is saved in event viewer?

It may be in your Event Viewer system logs. Search for the word "bugcheck" without quotes. We could also take a look at the Event Viewer logs if you follow the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html.

Ok writhziden - just as a matter of curiosity I went through the event viewer last evening and around about the time that blue happened I found a reference in Admin Events to an error 0x80041003 @ 4.32 and 4.38pm.

Now in the system there is a Bugcheck @4.30:20pm that was preceded by a "critical" @4.30:15 - ? kernel power.
The message I got was that Windows is going to close down because of an error or something to that effect (white on blue screen).

I did just prior to this get a message while in Windows Live Mail get a message that some suspicious activity had occurred and before I could do anything the email shut down and the blue happened.

So as I am not really savvy with this stuff what do I have to do next please?

Please follow the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html so we can determine what the BugCheck is within the logs.
