Windows 7 RTM crashes

Hi

While playing Call of Duty 4: World at War and Wolfenstein 2009 the Windows 7 RTM Ultimate x64 OS crashes. The machine then has to be powered off and on powering on the machine will not reboot - machine starts to power up then shutsdown in a continuous loop . Anyone suffered any other scenarios like this?

Oh never had a problem like this using Vista X64 Ultimate !

Please upload your BSOD .dmp file so that one of our local MVP members can analyze it. Just keep in mind that 9 times out of 10 it is a driver problem ... you might try a system restore just to be sure...

PS... Good job with your system specs ... makes all the difference in the world...

Problem is that it is very difficult to get the machine to reboot successfully after this crash. Took over 30 mins last night as I was trying to find a problem device in the machine e.g. HD, graphics card etc that was causing this issue. Reverted back to Vista for now but will re image to the Windows 7 again if anyone can help . Too much important info on machine to loose

With that being said, its probably going to be easier to backup your files, format the W7 partition and reinstall ... I know thats not what you want to hear, but no sense delaying the inevitable.. Im not saying that your problem isn't solvable, just not easily...
