    Start menu power button

In the Start Menu the only two choices in the power button options are 'Log off' and 'Lock'. I reset the start button options to default and restarted the computer by powering it off but there is no change. I lost the 'Shut Down'. 'Restart' and 'Switch User' options. How do I fix this other than restoring the operating system from backup or system restore?

Right click on the Start Orb and tick properties.

Thanks. All the commands came back except 'Switch user'. It is shadowed out.

Sorry if this seems obvious, but do you have more than one user account?

Yes, I have 5. Also one more question. How do I switch the order that the user accounts appear on the logon screen?

I don't think there's a way to change the order of accounts.

For your 'switch user' issue you might browse through the following:

Ctrl+Alt+Del and Start Menu - Add or Remove Switch User

    Switch User Shortcut - Create

richierein, did it work for you?

If so you can mark the thread as solved, if not let us know and we can work on it.
