Special_Pool_Detected_Memory_Corruption BSOD
Hello.
I received a PC from a company that builds them 2 days ago. The first time I ran the PC I received the "Windows previously failed to boot error would you like to run a error checker?" screen which was quite worrying for a newly built PC...
Anyway I played a few games on it all day and the PC played with a hitch, everything worked fine and no problems. Unfortunately today the PC has done nothing but BSOD almost every time I switch it on, even if I do manage to log on the PC BSODs fairly quickly. This leads me to believe this was possibly a program I may have installed since the PC ran fine the first day.
All errors point to "Memory Corruption", I did however run a DSKCHK and one error was fixed which was "Root cause found: System volume on disk is corrupt" but it didn't fix the BSOD which still happens every time I switch the PC on.
I ran driver verifier whilst these BSODs were happening but I'm fairly sure that the proper driver was never found even though it was running, this leads me to believe it's a Microsoft driver because I only have 4 drivers that aren't MS since the PC is new.
The specs of the PC are:
I7 920 Sandybridge
GTX 580
2x3gb XFX 1600 RAM
800gb HDD (I think the make is seagate?)
850w PSU
I know you will probably ask me to do a Memtest but this was 'supposedly' done by the company before they sent the PC out (they have to test that everything works fine before they send it...).
I will leave all the crash dumps here, I'm actually using my friends PC right now to post this, I was lucky to even get to the crash dump file on my other PC as it literally BSODs seconds within logging on.
Anyway I hope you guys can figure out the problem, thanks!
Edit: I do suspect my HDD is corrupt/dying to be the cause. The HDD is around 3/4 years old now and has 3 new installs of windows, I have files saved from each installation (windows000, windows001) which all contain the windows 32 files which could cause BSODs? It took over 2 hours to scan just my C drive because of all the items in it. Anyway it's just a hunch
