your memory is close but not identical to any memory chips listed in the Asus QVL (qualified Vendor List) for your mobo.
Suggest you contact ASUS and see what they say or buy module(s) on their QVL.
Your bios is out-of-date.
go to this website:
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P8Z68-V LX
Download the manual for your mobo.
Download the latest bios.
Follow the instructions in the manual (section 2.1.2) for EZ Flash 2 to update your bios.
After updating the bios,
Update the chipset driver.
Update all other drivers offered thru their site.
I recommend that you first resolve the memory problem.

Oh. I was pretty sure I saw my ram listed as compatible...oh well
I flashed bios tho my bios already said it was newest version. Flashing went smoothly but I cant use normal mode in windows anymore. Get bsod as soon as desktop loads up.
Also when logging to safe mode and went to post about this I got another bsod, which I never received earlier in safe mode.

replace your ram with a compatible ram.
Which flashing method did you use?
Did you download from the ASUS site?
Install the chipset driver and the rest of the drivers present there.

I flashed inside bios like I always do. My bios version just was the same version as stated for newest.
I need to get compatible ram hopefully by tomorrow or the day after that. But I'll keep you posted.
I downloaded all other drivers (except asus ai suite II) from asus site for my mb but all installers require restart which in my case leads to bsod as soon as I'm in windows. Tried to reboot back to safe mode but then it seemed drivers were not installed.

sounds like something on your system is dying and dying fast.
Before I suggest some drastic remedies, then I'll await your report after installing compatible ram.
Suggest you print out that QVL for your mobo and take with you when you go to the local electronics store.
don't ever let a salesman convince you that ram that is not on the list will work just fine.

Hmmh. Im confused. I printed out the RamQVL file and double checked the content. And it still looks like that my KHX1600c9d3k2/8gx IS listed there. I pulled my sticks from machine and that exact code was printed on them too. I'm not suspecting you telling me they are not compatible and will buy a new set if needed. Just curious.

Also I tried to turn on my comp this morning with same results but after I took out one ram stick and went bios. Ram settings in bios were set to 1333mhz 1.5v and timings were 9-9-9-24. So I changed them to what they should be. (1600mhz 1,65v with 9-9-9-27) So now my computer can load into normal mode but only with 1 stick installed.
I'm really starting to think this problem has something to do with my cpu memory controller not letting me run more than 1 stick at time.

something isn't checking out.
According to the script that you ran you have:
2 X Kingston KHX1600C9D3/4GX
As a further check, please download, install and run SIW (link in my signature)
Once SIW has populated, then:
on the top menu bar, FILE | create report file | HTML | save the file to your desktop
You will need to zip up the file since you can't upload an HTML file to SevenForums.
Just zip it up and attach to your next post.
