Please fill in your ((My System Specs)) completely. I'm no expert but the thing I noticed is (ATI External Event Viewer) I believe that can be turned off in your Start Up using msconfig. We will need the specs before we can give proper suggestions.

Check if their is a update for your video card driver from ATI.
Go to Start Orb and type msconfig then go to Start Up and give me a list of everything that you have checked. Then go to Services and in the lower left check Hide All Microsoft Services. Give me a list of everything that is checked there.

Start up.
Remove check marks from Audiogalaxy and Adobe anything
Remove all of them.
Some Bluetooth mouse and keyboard I have found need to start up at boot if you want to use your F keys at boot. It doesn't make a bit of sense to me.
My rule of thumb. Your security and maybe mouse and keyboard at boot is all you will need at boot in Start Up and in 3rd Services your security. I also suggest not to fool around with Windows Services. Things will still work but just when you want them to, they are a mouse click away. When you decide to use you Audogalaxy just click on it. It doesn't need to be running in the background when you are not using it.
A neat little program I use for checking for non Microsoft programs is Update Checker -
It's on demand. I use it once a day.
Also check msconfig often because when you update some programs they will put them self back in there checked marked again.
Let us know how things go.
