Computer freezes and says "Preparing Security Options"

After I log in, within 15 min, the computer freezes and then says "reboot and select proper boot device". If I try to ctrl-alt-del, it will say "preparing security options"

    Help needed!!

Scan the HDD and the memory for errors! Must be hardware related but could be virus also/

Crashing in scans must be related to power/motherboard issue. Can you try another Power Supply Unit?
If the PC crashes in exact moment then it must be a physically damaged sector if crashing while using HDD Test.

Just hang in there. All of our BSOD analysts are busy at the moment. As soon as possible, and assuming you don't bump which against forum rules, then one of them will be with you.

@RhapsodyofFire Leave BSOD problems to the BSOD analysts.

@Mangoh Leave BSOD problems to the BSOD analysts.

    Hi understood :)

How do you become a BSOD analysts on this forum?

Is it a special user title you earn?
