BSOD - SF Diagnostic Tool Info is attached.

    Hi

My Toshiba C660D has been suffering from BSOD. So I re-installed the OS, but after a week or so it is doing it again. It was slow booting/closing and then the Black Screen. I have installed a different HDD and the OS again and it is currently working, but I had another BSOD earlier today and it is slow to reboot. I have also changed the memory. Can anyone please help?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Rik

One of the dumps is pointing to igdkmd32.sys Intel graphics driver

    Driver Reference Table - igdkmd32.sys

Try looking for a newer driver on the intel site and let us know how it goes.

    Hi

Many thanks for the prompt reply. I have installed the latest driver. All seemed ok, but when I go to attempt to create a laptop restore point, when I right-click My Computer>Properties nothing happens, it just stays on the desktop......then after a while the windows start to open, but the explorer windows are initially blank and take a few minutes to open...??

How did you reinstall the operating system? Did you do a Toshiba restore (back to the original shipping configuration, complete with crapware) or did you install Windows yourself? Did you perform a complete virus scan prior to reinstalling the operating system?

I installed it myself from disc, plus I have used a different HDD. No virus scan was performed as the HDD was formatted using another PC before installing it into the laptop, and then installing the OS.

I was rebooting and it was installing updates (1 of 8) and hung. I did a force shutdown and it has automatically started a disc check. It is now going through a load of files for example 'recovering orphaned file x86 into directory' etc etc ...never seen anything like this before?!?!
